RE: Favorite markings on a ragdoll?
I couldn't vote for E. All of the above, with the exception of the Van pattern. The Van patterning in Ragdolls in an accepted variant in CFA, but they are not accepted for points or titles in TICA. The Van pattern, is a Ragdoll with a very high level of white spotting, and I don't know many breeders working with this pattern.

Rainbow55 Wrote:I'm thinking about getting a mitted oneI just got a blue mitted boy a couple of weeks ago. He's darling! Mostly white right now, with grey on his tail, ears and a smudge on his nose. With his dreamy blue eyes as his coat comes in he's going to be even more adorable! |

RE: Favorite markings on a ragdoll?
A van is a term for a pattern, the Van bicolor pattern is accepted in CFA, but not in TICA for championship status. The point color is restricted to the tail and ears, and minimal mask point color. The saddle or body area will remain all white, and will not develop color. A van is mostly white. Not many breeders work with the Van pattern, I do not have a picture of one, as I have never worked with or bred one, as the White Spotting Factor is too high, IMO.
The only picture I could find was through this website here, and if you scroll down, there is a picture of a Van Ragdoll. I hope that helps. ![]() Purrs, Stormi We strongly advocate the practice of pediatric spay and neuter, please do your part. Oklahoma City, OK |

Thanx Stormi, i had a look at the site.....not sure if i have an opinion either way about the look - makes the cat in the photo look a bit harsh though i think - i have never heard of it hear before! |
