A Tutorial for using Photobucket to Post Pictures
To Post Pictures to the Forum:

1. Go to http://www.photobucket.com and open a free account.

2. After opening the account and signing in....Click on Choose Files (1)
This will open a screen showing what's on your computer. Navigate to where the photo is saved, click on the photo(s) to highlight and click open (2)
Make sure your upload is set to 640 X 480 (3)

3. Wait for the pic to upload.

4. After it uploads, you can add a title if you want - or just return to album

5. After returning to album, scroll down a little and you'll see the pic you uploaded. As you move your cursor over it, lines of code will appear below it.

6. Click on the line of code that has IMG to the left of it - the line of code will highlight - then RIGHT click on the highlighted code to get little menu up that gives you the option to COPY.
Click on Copy.

7. Go back to the forum and open a thread and then RIGHT click in the space you want the image to appear to get the small menu with the PASTE option. Click on paste.

8. A line of code will appear.

9. You can type in anything you want to say in the post before or after the line of code. Just be sure you don't change ANYTHING in the code or give extra spaces. When you post,
the photo will appear in place of the code.

Thank you for doing that Teresa. I have only posted photos using the upload attachment feature, which is less than ideal. This will obviously give better results.

Thanks so so much! I did get a picture on here, finally. I'm not sure I would have figured this out by myself. I'm computer challenged you see.

Cool My second attempt to post pics of my dolls and my maltese.....
well -- all in a vertical row isnt the greatest prestation.... I am now trying the IMG code --

these pics are of Bogie, my Seal Point Ragdoll boy; Katie, the Blue point girl; Spencer, the Cream Point, rescuded boy; and my maltese, Annie, too!

here goes again: thanks all for your patience......

Good job and what beautiful cats! But you should post this in it's own thread, not on the Photobucket one Smile
