So proud of Shadow
I've been type 1 diabetic for 51 years and don't always feel when going low. Last night Shadow was bugging me kept head butting me and climbing up to my face and licking me just wouldn't settle. Thought he was telling me was time for bed as was 12.30. So decided to give in and go to bed. Did my blood glucose test before bed to find was 1.9 which is far far to low I'm lucky I was still conscious. Was very shocked considering I should be 7.0 But so proud of my boy for keeping at me until I got up. He deserves some special treats today thats for sure.

What a HERO. I have time & time again heard of cats & dogs being able to sense potential devastating events with their guardians I'm SO glad you have Shadow. Please take care of yourself & keep Shadow close.

Wow! I know dogs are trained to sense changes in diabetic's blood levels (acetone on breath??) but I didn't know a cat could do it. What an amazing baby you have. Way to go, Shadow.

That's what I thought too. Amazing how some cats can also do it. Shadow surely is special and cares about you.
