Henry went to the vet...It is not good :( He is getting worse

Henry went to the vet...It is not good :( He is getting worse
Henry is not a ragdoll, but the brother to a ragdoll. I mentioned on here about him not having much energy. I took him to the vet this morning. He has a fever of 104.7 and has jaundice. My first thought went to the kitty on this forum I read about last night. Of course they kept him for bloodwork , fluids, tests, etc. They mentioned possible FIP. I felt awful leaving him there. They will call me later with some information. My heart is breaking. I cant believe I may lose him
 How could he go from fine to this??? Henry is also around the same age.... he will be 9 months on the 20th.

Oh my goodness, Vicky - I am so sorry. Let's pray they find something else going on with him and not give up hope. Sending Henry prayers and you hugs. Please let us know as soon as you hear anything from the vet.

Hope you get some good news about Henry, Vicky! It seems ironic to hear of 2, 9 month old kittens with the same problem inside 3 days! Fingers crossed that things are not as bad as they currently seem.

I am waiting to hear. They said they would call me this afternoon. I really did not like leaving him there. I am praying it is something else. all I could think of when they said he was jaundiced was the other kitty on this forum.

I'm sending you my prayers also. I'm sorry your wee one is sick. I'll be checking thru out the day to see how Henry is.

Prayers are with you as I do know waiting for reports about our babies is not easy. If you need to scream just put the caps on and let it go but no naughty words...
