I'm getting my first Ragdoll (or cat at all, for that matter) next weekend, and I need advice! I live in a small studio apartment, and I was wondering what everyone recommends as the best odor-control litter. I will of course keep up with it, but I'm just terrified that my tiny apartment will smell like a litter box!! Any suggestions?
This is my first post, so actually any advice on the new kitten is welcomed.

Welcome, congratulations on your kitten and enjoy the process.
For some time leave the kitten on the same style of box and litter used by the breeder. You are best having at least two boxes at first, even if they are side by side. You will probably be able to cut back to one. To try new litter and boxes, ADD one just in case it is rejected for some reason. Frequent clearing of the box is the best odor preventative.
I agree with JanH; however, if you decide to change at a latter date I would suggest World's Best. Main reason is that it's flushable in the event that your living arrangements don't allow for daily trash removal.
Thanks for the advice! My breeder uses Tidy Cats, but also suggested World's Best. I'm so excited for my new baby!!!

I hope you'll share your new baby with us! hee hee

How exciting for you!

Yes get two litter boxes and the covered litter boxes with swinging doors work out well. I havent had any problem with any major odors.
