What color ragdolls would you get if you mated a seal bi color with a flame bi color and would they all be bi colors babies?
Well I think you'll get...
1/2 Bicolour, 1/4 Colourpoint, 1/4 High White Bicolour
and all males will be seal and all females will be seal torties

Oooh thats confusing, to me anyway LOL....reason i ask, I am patiently waiting for a seal point kitten and my breeder just informed me that her bi color seal who mated with a flame had kittens today. I am soooo keeping my fingers crosses there will be a seal point male out of the 5 she had!! Thanks though for the info BlueSky!!
There is not enough information to answer. Each bicolor can be a high mitted bicolor or a "true" bicolor genetically. Each cat can "carry" dilute or not. Red is sex linked, so it makes a difference if the mother or the father is the flame.

Two high mitted bicolors will produce ONLY high mitted bicolor kittens. Two "true" bicolor parents will have colorpoint, "true" bicolor and van (high white) kittens. A high mitted bicolor and a "true" bicolor can have mitted and mid-high white kittens.

Now i am even more confused, LOL. I do know that the female is the seal bi color. Thats about it. guess i will just have to be patient and like i said keep my fingers crossed for a seal.
In North America, most bicolors are high mitted bicolors and the kittens of such a match would be ALL bicolors.

For a red father and seal mother, the kittens will be flame boys and tortie girls. If BOTH parents "carry dilute." Then there can also be cream boys and blue/cream girls.

So in other words my chances of a seal point are slim to none
Here is a cool website where you plug in the patterns and colors and see what the mating will probably produce.

http://www.tbrcc.co.uk/pattern_colour_prediction.htm

In one week my seal colorpoint girl is due and we expect 50% seal and 50% blue, and 50% colorpoint and 50% mitted. We shall see.
I use that same color and pattern predictor!
Sorry, the MALES will be seal, blue if both parents carry dilute. Girls will be tortie.
