I just wanted to share this with you guys.
Our little girl is no longer a kitten.
She is so quickly turning into a lady.
She is now 9 months old.
She is developing all the wonderful typical Ragdoll traits.
A real little lady.
Lots of flops, bellie ups and lap sittings
She actually almost intantly and overnight has become a real lappy.
After we have combed her she sits there like the queen all proud.
She is gorgeous,
Just wanted to share it.

Hey Paul thats wonderful it is such a special moment when things change unexpectedly , they are just like our kids I know how proud i get when Milo develops a new skill or shows emotions he has not done before it's just like when the kids reach a new milestone. I think our babies are going through a major developmental stage (they are only 1mth apart) Milo has become a lap cat almost over night LOL here I was moaning on the lap cat post about him not being a lap cat then POW WOW! he has started jumping on my knee for cuddles!!! I must admit that I adore my little man and everyone else's too just reading the forum posts gives you an idea as to how much we all love and adore these beautiful cats , I can't wait to here more about your new addittion do you have any pics from your breeder you can share?

Did you encourage her in any way with her lap sitting or did it just come naturally for her?
I love it when "the change" happens. I think us ragdoll slaves/owners have it easy... our kitties change and become sweeter! lol.
My brother in law's cat Link (formally known as Ghengis Kahn the rescue kitten) is a holy terror, and he's getting up there in age too!
The little ones (kitten and human) just grow so fast.
I; on the other hand - just age
I've got lots to learn still.. but I'm sure I'll reach a point in my life where I'll just age too lol

Our new little furry friend is due to be born on the the 25th of this month,
That would be so good as it is also my son Joshuas birthday.

We really didnt need to do too much to intice our girl onto our laps, it seemed to come as she mutured more into the bautiful lady she is
,
Of course we did pick her up and hold her "continuously", the most handled cat in the world, poor girl.
I think I will learn till the day I die, I have a passion for learning new things, I guess 43 is not old these days but sometimes I can feel old.
