So, it begins!

Angel has started nesting, and we have separated her from the rest of the cats. We put her in our "kitty maternity ward" room and thankfully, we're ready and waiting to go.

The room consists of a bed (for me) that's low to the ground so that she cant get under it, her maternity box (a long box with a hole in it for her to get in and out of, and a towel for nesting), food and water dishes, and a litter box for her.

She's due in 4 days, so we're waiting. Her milk has come in, and we found that once the milk comes in for her, its pretty much any day after that (at least for Angel).

So, we are waiting. Any guesses on the day and on how many? Angel is roughly the same size she was for her last litter (5)... so we think it'll be 5.


Shylo is due next weekend. We're waiting for her to have her litter too! Will update again pretty much daily now.

Very, I am on kitten watch because her temprature went down a couple of degrees.

Nothing yet, but she's cleaning herself like mad.... ohhh I hope she can hold off!! I've got an appointment today with my accident lawyer, and I cant miss it!!! Augh! I SOOOOOO wish I had some way of being here and being there at the same time!!!

Nothing yet... still waiting. I think it might be tonight or tomorrow the latest.

She is currently sitting at 64 days, so we're watching her like a hawk.

Is George the daddy?

No, George is still a kitten himself
He is however, our future stud. We expect that he and Angel will make some lovely kittens around November of next year.

Shylo and Angel were both bred to the same male, hopefully we get at least one that is flashy enough to show... and hopefully its a female lol.

What colours and patterns are they expecting?

From Shylo she should only have blues and seals, no lynx, and they'll be bicolors, high-white bicolor, mitted, and possibly pointed as well.

From Angel, she will have the most assortment of colors because Ange is a tortie, so her kittens will be blues, seals, flames, seal tortie, blue tortie, and there is a smidgen of a possibility for red females... if I get a flame female that is flashy enough, I will be keeping her as I have always wanted one.
