Hi to all! Been busy here. Our Stormy is doing great! He's healed up from surgery and his fur is growing in on his side. He's not licking quite as much as he was. We still have to go in to the vet and get his PH levels checked again. We'll do that soon. He did have a little drippy nose last week but it didn't last long and wasn't as severe as sometimes. I'm not sure what brought that on - perhaps because we were gone for the weekend and he was home alone?

Stormy is about 8.5 lbs and feeling heavier! He will be 1 year old on Tuesday!!

He's full of life & spunk so we're all very happy! He snuggles with me in the morning, laying on his back in my arms just blissed out with the tummy rub. He purrs a lot again. I love how he just lays in the room sleeping where the kids are playing all around. He loves to be with us.

In other good news, my husband got a job! Today he is finishing up week 2 & gets PAID! We are really feeling the pinch so we're relieved. He's making less than before but overall it's a good job and we're thankful. Thanks for all the support here with Stormy & life......

That's just great! Hard to believe he was such a sick boy and came through the surgery and all so well. I have to say, I check in on your blog sometimes (you posted a link to it a while back) and I loved the Stormy recognition day the kids had drawing pictures of Stormy. You've got a great day care group and a great cat!! Congrats to your husband on the new job.

Jo filled me in on what was happening with young Stormy. I am glad to hear that is all behind him now.

Its devastating when you hit hard times and then something as important as this pops up. I remember what it felt like when we cane so close to losing Merlin like it was only yesterday. At the end of the day, all the money and effort you put in is well worth it and I truly believe both Merlin and Stormy know who is ultimately responsible for them still being here and they will always be eternally grateful

Great news on Stormy's improving health and the job for your husband, you deserved it after having such rough times!
