Hello everyone,
My fiance and I have had other breeds of cat over the years but we are completely new to the Ragdoll breed, we pick up Wills (an ex stud male) on monday afternoon and although we have done some research into the breed we have decided to join your little community to glean some helpful pointers and share our Ragdoll experiences with others
The full details about Wills have not yet been sorted out but we believe he is about 6 years old and has been having the time of his life "servicing" the females at the breeders but is now coming to us to live out the rest of his days in the country.
He will have been neutered and is a pedigree, we think we may have the option of having a female as well but will wait until Monday to find out for sure.
We already have a Tabby cat (Jazzy) and think that she will be ok with the arrival of Wills if we give her lots of attention and love to help her adjust and not make her feel pushed out by Wills.
Think thats it for now, we look forward to any pointers or advice anyone can help us with
