Well Charlie did it again. I was watching ghost hunters (paranormal). I really love these shows for some odd reason! All the lights are off, a few candles burning and Charlie walks up to my hall way closet and starts growling and backing away!!! The dogs start barking and the hair on their backs are standing straight up. Ofcourse this scares me half to death and I flip all the lights on and open the closet. No ghosts or anything unusual!!! I think!!!
Do cats feel the energy off people? Could he know that I was nervous during the show and alittle scared and reacted to me? This is the 2nd time he has done this!
The first time I wouldnt shut the lights off all night and my husband thought I was crackers. I may have to keep all the lights on again tonight.
How creepy!! I'd sleep with the lights on too! Charlie has very keen senses, nothing gets past him!
I think they are much more sensitive than we are, and can hear and feel things we are not aware of. So, yes, I would sleep with the light on too.
My dogs and cats always seem to act like that when Walter is out of town.
Well, they ARE very perceptive! I know what you mean though.. one night Bonkers and Mocha started acting REALLY freaky and it scared me to death. Mocha was running all over the apartment looking for a hiding place, even trying to jump up on the table which he does not do. Bonkers looked terrified and was running all over on his tippie toes with his head up high listening.. Then they were both in their high alert mode and staring at the front door. This went on for awhile, eventually (hours later) I got up the nerve to open the door and look out but thankfully there was nothing there.

I love Ghost Hunters too, it's not too scary. Now, the show "A Haunting" is another story! That one is disturbing!

Good luck watching the next episode, you'll have to let us know what happens!
I would be sleeping with lights on to...
He is being sensitive to something.
Maybe he is seeing shadows that your candels are makeing.
leave light on thoSmile
Oh that's definitely scary -- I'd be sleeping with lights on and a gun by the bed!
Okay Raged....now I'm scared for sure. lol Seriously though, I believe you may be onto something.

Lexi, sounds so interesting the way your cats got spooked by something during that show!
