Since Aiden is not neutered yet, I haven't got his pedigree - I'll only receive that after sending a written neutering confirmation from my vet.
But still... I was a bit curious about his pedigree and started looking for information on his parents
- and what I found out is so funny in a way
- little Aiden is related to Elise's (Boendoek) Eddy, Luna and Nina
Aidens mom is 'Luana of the Place to be' and comes from the same breeder as Elise's babies!
That is interesting. I guess really, they're all cousins. Aren't they?

Eddy's, Luna's and Nina's father is Aiden's grandfather if I have things right, of course I don't know their pedigree, but the breeder only has one male at the moment - he's cream mitted.

How cool! I've often wondered if we posted the pedigree of our raggies how many of them we might find to be related. It does make it interesting though since you're in Germany and she's in the Netherlands. (Oh gosh, my geography is so bad I don't even know how close or far away that is from each other)
Speaking of Aiden -- how long has it been now since we've seen pics of that boy?

Teresa it takes only a couple of minutes for me with my bike to cross the border - so I'm really close

You're probabjy right about the close relations within the breed

They will all trace to Josephine. Even with an outcross, the other half of the pedigree going back from there will have Josephine at the beginning. It would just depend on how many generations the pedigree included. Of course, some will be much more closely and recently related than others and discovering those relationships is fun.
