Like Frank and Lola, we're going to Pensacola for a 2nd honeymoon in October! Seriously! We booked the room at Jimmy Buffett's new Margaritaville Hotel with balcony ocean view, so we don't back out this time. My sister in law will come over and check on the boys each day. I am so excited! The real guilt about leaving Menou and Bubba hasn't yet set in.

Wow that sounds great! - I'm sure your boys will be fine too so you can really enjoy your 2nd honeymoon!

Yes T, and Bud wants to show me Mobile while we're there. I asked if it was far from Jacksonville thinking we could meet you for lunch or something, but it seems to be a long way from you.

Pensacola is so pretty! I was there for 6 months for school when I first joined the Navy and had a great time. Destin is a town pretty close by and has some of the prettiest beaches I've ever seen, you should check it out! Hopefully the oil spill won't have any effects on your trip (shouldn't by then). I'm so excited for you!

Thanks everybody! Jenny, my husband lived in Pensacola and he talks about Destin. He says he'll show me the good stuff.

You will have a great time in October. It shouldn't be very crowded, and little risk of hurricanes. Not to hot either.

The hurricanes are the reason we are waiting until October. We need to wait past the season so we can feel okay to leave home and my elderly inlaws.
