this evening there was continuous meowing.
we thought it was sienna.
so we went to investigate it wasnt sienna but a black cat at our door.
it is very friendly for pats.
he looked very skinny and he ate lots of biscuits i gave him.
we tried to put him in a cage so i could take him to rspca in the morning because if i took him there at night the dingos would get him. but he would not go in at all.
and now he has left.
maybe he will come back. but he was very friendly and unfortunately rather skinny.
Poor kitty, I hope he comes back - for food if nothing else. It's nice of you to try and help him.
Poor Kitty ... I too hope he will be back...if only for some food
he came back a few times.
but he arcs up a bit when u try to put him in the cage so we r just going to keep putting food out for him.
we think its the little kitten that used to live next door that went went missing for over a year.
Poor little fella, glad he found your door. Is there also a risk of dingo's in your area or is that just near the rspca? We have Coyotes here but dingo's on the doorstep is such an exotic thought to me. (love OZ when I got the chance to visit a couple of years back, we're scuba divers so the reef was a dream). Anywhoo, hope that kitty stays safe!
no i have never seen dingo's in our area too suburban for them. but rspca is near the bush... well theres bush everywhere in australia. especially in queensland i guess...
i actually live near a reef its only a short boat trip away...but dont get out there much. its been years, its costs a bit to get on the boat lol but it is very beautiful.
i would love to keep the kitty, but cant keep everything can i. so we will try to get him used to us and take him to rspca...to at least get fixed up, he is sooo pretty too...and the purr on him. its beautiful.
It's such a sad situation. I'm glad he found you and hope you can get him the help he needs.
kitty has been caught. he doesnt like being in a cage at all.
i will take him to rspca.
wish i could keep him though he is sooo lovable.

Good on you Dannilou!!! At least you know you are putting him in safe hands. I know what you mean about wanting to keep him, when we foster it's so tough to let go.
Is there a difference between rspca and spca? Here in the states, the SPCA & The Humane Society kill animals if they cannot place them and even if they are overcrowded. Also, black cats are hard to place. I don't know why, but people don't seem to want the black ones.
