Sorry to hear beautiful Bella had an infection and I hope she continues to get better.
Bella only has one tablet left to take however it looks like there is still a lump. Should it still be present after the last tablet is taken, I will take her back to the vet... It doesn't seem to bother her in the slightest however I am concerned that it is still there. She is still eating like normal and drinking. She is also back to her normal self. I am just worried because I know it shouldn't be there still
Call them first. There is post surgery edema that will take some time to go away and that is not a danger. However, if there was also infection, then that may complicate deciding what to do. A call will determine if they need to see her. They can tell you if you need to do more meds, monitor or bring her in.
I've just been and it was just a fluid build up the vet did drain it though and has given me another 5 days worth of antibiotics but he said she should be completely fine now Smile
Hi Nicole - that's good news about your beautiful Bella Smile - she'll be fine in no time now I'm sure!
Good to here all is well.
I'm so glad she is ok, it must have been a worrying time for you! xx
