It is really hot, even at night, but Knight is certainly comfortable with the a/c! Big Grin Thank you for the advices and for sharing your experiences! Smile
I use a/c and don't think twice about it. It broke for 4 days this summer and my kids and kittens and I were suffering because it was 98 degrees INSIDE my house! It was awful. My ragdolls seem much more comfortable when its on. I keep it 70-72 inside on most days.
air conditioner hmm I almost turned the heat on today here. I don't like 90 degree weather but heck I would take some 70 degree weather and no rain. We don't have air conditioning for the 2 weeks it might get hot here. It cools down enough at night that I can cool the house and close everything up in the morning it's not too bad

BS. Just as humans with allergies and asthma do better in A/C, so do cats in terms of many UR issues. For most health issues it is totally irrelevant, although even there, lasting temps above about the mid 80s can be dangerous for cats because of heat stroke and dehydration risks.
