Sorry guys, another question from me!
How much (ideally) should a 6 month old, spayed, raggie boy weigh?
I know all kittens are different but what is an accepted healthy weight at this age?

The ideal weight depends on the size of the kitten, not the age. A cat who is likely to be a big male as an adult will likely weigh over 6 pounds, and perhaps much more, although small adults can be that weight too at 6 months. Growth spurts vary so much that kitten weights vary widely among cats of the same size as adults.
Well I've just weighed him on the kitchen scales (so not entirely accurate) and he's about 3.5 Kilo/7.7lbs !! So I'm guessing he's going to be a BIG boy!! His Dad weighed about 20lb I think so I guess he's going to take after his Daddy!
I've done the test you've mentioned before Jan, about looking at him from above to see if he goes out from the bottom of his ribs to his tail and he doesn't so I'm guessing he's not overweight?? He is quite long and doesn't look fat so I guess he's just a big baby!

Yes, Kevin is almost 6 months -- not too far behind Charlie and he weighs 7.2 lbs as of last weekend. He'll be 6 months in two weeks! It's his boning and he is definitely not fat at all. The vet said he is guessing he'll be around 18lbs! I think his dad was over 20lbs but his mother was somewhere on the smaller size. Maybe 13lbs!
Diane, my breeder, told me she definitely could see him growing to be a very big boy. He has huge paws!
Dexter weighed 8 pounds at 6 months. He was always 2 pounds over his age in months (9 lbs at 7 months, 10 lbs at 8 months, etc.) Then he hit a year old and hasn't grown much since! He has weighed 14 pounds for awhile now. So who knows!
Same for Newman! He was 8 lbs at 6 months but now he's 14 months old and been holding steady at 13 lbs for 3 months or so.
My Valentino just 6 months old this Saturday, was weighed at the Vet the other day and he's 9.8 lbs.
I think Charlie and Percy were born a couple of days apart.
I weighed Percy yesterday and he was just over 4 kilos. So Charlie doesnt sound overweight to me
I was very curious about this also, thanks for asking the question, our eating machine Dexter is 6.4 lbs at just over 4 months, his dad was 22 lbs and his mom was 16 lbs so I am expecting a big boy but was wondering if there is some kind of chart for normal growth in a ragdoll??
