I'm so glad to hear your little baby Cooper is so amazing and apparently all you have dreamed of - don't worry about the rest of it Newmann will soon understand this is his baby bro and not an unwanted intruder.

For us, every day was better than the day before but it is a process. Patience is tough to have but I think that it really pays off in the end. I think that by taking your cues from their behaviour, you will know when they are ready for the next step. With Katies growling on day one, I thought she'd never accept Dexter, now they are always together

Now Newman wants in the safe room everytime I go in. They can't have contact until Cooper finishes his ear mite medicine so I hold Cooper and let Newman in to sniff everything a couple of times a day and I've walked Cooper through the rest of the apartment. Newman only hisses occasionally now. I think their face to face this weekend might not be too bad...

I'm happy with the progress so far and really looking forward to having Cooper out of the safe room!

I'm hoping Cooper can come out of his little room on Sunday. He is the sweetest most loveable affectionate boy. I'll have pictures posted tomorrow.
