WENT TO LOOK AT THE KITTENS THIS WEEK AND ALL ARE SO ADORABLE HOWEVER THIS LITTLE GUY JUST TOOK TO ME CAME AND LAID IN MY LAP AND WENT RIGHT TO SLEEP THERE IS ALSO A LITTLE FEMALE CUTE AS WELL HOWEVER I AM TORN BETWEEN MAKE AND FEMALE JUST WANTED TO SEE WHAT I SHOULD DO? ALL I HEAR IS MALE SPRAY???? I ALSO HAVE A 4 YEAR OLD MINI PIN HE IS A DOLL VERY GOOD ALL HE LIKES TO DO IS SLEEP LOL WANTED TO SEE HOW TO GO ABOUT GETTING THEM TOGETHER AND ALL SO PLEASE HELP ME OUT THANKS SO MUCH

When selecting between kittens you want, always choose based on temperament - particularly reaction to you.

Altered cats rarely spray, particularly if they are altered young. Males are only slightly more likely to have litterbox problems than females (and most litterbox problems are because of illness, which is equal between the sexes).

There are many posts on slow introductions and you can find them with the search feature at the top of the pages. If you need additional ideas, ask about it. You want to start with a safe room, introduce pets under the door and by scent first and carefully supervise interactions. Take things slowly and observe them to set the pace.

I agree with everything JanH says, especially about the spraying. It is rare that a kitten will spray - but remember, males AND females can spray if not altered. I wouldn't even be concerned about it if I were you, especially if the breeder alters before you bring them home.

Is there any chance you could get them both?

Can you get one of each? LOL I couldn't decide either so got male & female, so happy i did, but yea it's so expensive.

Brandy, As the others have said, choose the one your heart tells you to. I have an altered male & he has never sprayed. We used to have a male cat we found as a stray. He was about a year old when we found he. He sprayed a few times until we got him altered and he never, ever sprayed again.
