Thanks all for the support. It helps. I actually have teared up a bit over this as I miss my babies so much. I got Shirley's email this morning and will call her later today. I don't yet know what will happen. Laura

Laura, taking in a senior is the most selfless of acts. They are so hard to place. Thanks so much for reaching out to this family, if the owner is going through tragedy due to illness already, what a relief it will be to know that their furry loved one will be in such a caring foster home. Even if circumstances change and it doesn't work out, just the fact that you were willing to do this is awesome!
Well I spoke with Shirley last week who said the owner wanted to speak with me. But the owner did not return my call so......I'm not sure what to think. Perhaps she found a good home. I hope so.
I hate when things are left hanging like that. I hope she found a good home.
