We are going to the IRC. Made the flight, hotel reservations and scrambling on getting the CFA reg numbers to sign up. The past IRCs have been TICA but this time it's CFA.

As it is looking right now, I'll be entering 2 kittens. We had planned on entering Wild Bill since he has been shown in CFA and is working for his Grand but he has developed bad stud tail and a chunk of fur is gone.

We went to the last IRC in Chicago 2 yrs ago and it was a really good time. I expect this one to be just as good if not better.
Good luck with the kittens, shame about Wild Bill though. When is it, and where? Let us know how you get on, please.
It starts September 24 in Denver.

That is great your going. Denny Dayton will be there. Several SoCal breeders will be there and it should be a lot of fun as well as educational. We really did get a lot out of the last one and made quite a few new friends.

Have you shown Oliver in CFA before?

I didn't realize Denny was going to be there. Will he be showing or just giving out info? I know my breeder is going to probably go as well and a couple other breeders from my area where I show. Yes, I show in CFA. Oliver left his kitten career just a month ago and was in 1st place for Ragdoll Kittens. Smile He is doing really well I can't wait to see how he does against many others. Smile He is now a premier and I don't have the points yet but I think he granded as a premier after one show. I'm patiently waiting to find out. Smile I am thinking about showing him in TICA at local shows.
I will be there too with my boy Haku. I'm just taking him, since I'm also flying in. I look forward to meeting many of you there!! Big Grin

Mark, sorry to hear about Wild Bill. Sad I was looking forward to meeting him in person. Hopefully next time. Wink
You guys know how I am about pictures, so you better be taking lots of them and share them with us!
That is great about Oliver. We have shown in TICA for a few years now and prefer over CFA. IMO it is harder for the Ragdolls in CFA. But we will continue to show in both. TICA is a lot of fun and the pace of the show is quicker.

We have made a lot of progress with the CFA paperwork this week. The Sire, Dam, and litter have now been registered. Just waiting for the Reg numbers for the kittens. Shhooo. We had to rush them because Peggy is showing the kittens in New Jersey this month and the deadline for entry is coming fast. We have been working with the kittens so that they get used to a lot of handling and chaos. THey seem like they will do well. But you never know until they are in the hall. I'll be bringing a Seal Lynx mitted girl and a Seal Torbie mitted girl. If for some reason one of them doesn't work out then I'll bring our Seal Lynx bicolor male.

I'm disappointed about WB. We didn't catch the Stud Tail in time.

There will be plenty of pics.

Now just need to sign up for the Banquet and Seminars.
