Surgery is done and Cooper is doing well. (PHEW!) I can't pick him up for another 4 1/2 hours because of my work schedule Sad but it feels great to know everything went fine. I guess he'll be that much more "recovered" by the time I see him.

The 2nd testicle that wasn't descended didn't prove difficult to find. He did have to have his tummy shaved again - but now I know it's behind us and he can grow it back once and for all. (they joke at his vet that he's the only kitten they know that has been spayed and neutered) The vet said it was two very small incisions with internal stitches.

As for his ears...they flushed them very well and she was doing cytology on what she got out to determine if it's bacterial or yeast. The plan is to change his meds from Tresaderm to something else (I'll know more when I pick him up). I hope we're nearing the end of the ear problems. Mostly, I'm just relieved the surgery is over and everything went well.

Can't wait to bring him home tonight. I know Newman will be pacing in front of the door waiting for me to return his baby.
Good news about Cooper - we'll keep our fingers and paws crossed that he will recover swiftly Smile - just tell Newmann he has to be a bit careful with baby bro for a couple of days LOL
