...from spraying everywhere?! The bed, the carpet, the shower, the bathroom mat... any suggestions? We've thorougly cleaned the soiled areas and sprayed some feliway, but she just goes and finds somewhere else. All the bedroom doors are closed now and the bathroom door too. It's getting all over her britches so she's literally a walking advertisement! Also has anyone had success with the acupressure method? Or any other natural way to take her off call? (not a fan of hormone injections or the pill).
I'm not a breeder, but...just wondering if stud pants would work on her?
You know I actually thought about that too! Can they still use the litter while they're wearing it?
I don't think so -- don't you have to change them when they wet? I've also know of others who have used disposable diapers when their cats were incontinent - just cutting out a hole for the tail - maybe use something like that - at least it would keep the spraying down.
Welcome to breeding. You can confine her to an area easy to clean, like a bathroom. Sometimes, you can provide an easily cleaned or disposable target that they will use. Identify her favorite location and consider hanging a diaper there.
Thanks Jan! It's lovely to be here

We can't figure out her favourite spot yet, besides "everything" lol. We've closed off all the rooms with carpet so the most damage she can do now is on the tiles... unless she figures out how to use a doorknob... knock on wood! Hmmm a disposable target, that's something to consider, thanks!
I would use confinement to a master bathroom or large area that is cleanable. I have heard of others using a large dog crate or herbal remedies but I really do not know about that personally.
My boy Kingstone can open the slider door. Good thing he doesnt spray

If the slider is open even an inch he can use his paws to open it most of the way and get in and out. The slider separates the dining room from the sunroom and we go in and out 100 times a day.
Clever Kingstone! And a nice clean boy too

I hadn't thought of herbal remedies, thanks Gail. She seems to be marking less on the tiles so we might continue keeping her out of the carpeted rooms. Which also means no sleeping on the bed for any of them until she settles
