This is one theory. However, to the contrary, grazing throughout the day and night is believed to keep blood sugar levels closer to flat over the entire period rather than the spikes associated with fixed meals. (For example, diabetics are advised to eat six or seven times per day rather than two or three times.) In fact, I doubt there is much health difference for healthy cats.
i have all my cats on both wet and dry and they are now used to it.
oliver who i am looking after at the moment only has dry but since he has been here he is eating wet occasionally too.
now that raffles is 16, he has trouble eating dry so i dont have a choice with regards to what he eats.
dry food diet only is ok so long as you are giving them a good product
