Well, it only took six months for Mishka to go from 10 to 11 pounds, but she finally made it last week at 16 months old. When she was a kitten, I estimated that she'd be 12 pounds when full-grown. We'll see...

She also had her first hairball overnight. I knew she was sluggish last night, and this morning, there was a large swath of hairball and some food. She decided long ago that she was no longer going to eat the hairball paste, but she loves hairball treats twice a week. I guess, for now, it's hairball treats more often and more frequent brushings.
Yay Mishka! 10 or 11 pounds is good, that's what my boys weigh! Smile
LOL! I'm trying to decide if you posted she's a big girl now because she made it to 11 pounds or because she coughed up her first hairbal!
Was there a certain formula you used to estimate Mishka's adult weight?

No. Her dad was 17 pounds, and her mom was very long and sturdy. I just guestimated that Mishka would end up at 12 pounds. We'll see down the road. She's really put on her long coat and started to fill out more lately. She looks like more than her 11 pounds.
Sounds like we need some more photos of the beautiful, big Mishka Big Grin

I know what you mean. When I weigh Luca he comes in at between 9 - 10 lbs. However, to look at him you'd think he was about 15 lbs! I don't understand our scale. When I weigh myself, I am quite sure the scale is adding 10 lbs. But when I weigh Luca, I think it is deducting a few lbs. Hmmm, very puzzling Rolleyes
