This morning Phoenix discovered a creative way to get a drink of water. I was doing his morning grooming routine, while he was laying on the bathroom vanity/counter area. Instead of being in his usual spot, he was laying next to his water bowl....so close to it that when he turned his head sideways while in a flop position, his whiskers were under water. lol Being the casual guy he is, he thought....oh that's my water there and I think I'll get a quick drink.

So, instead of standing up, he turned over on his side & proceeded to lap up water ....never lifting his head up further than to reach his bowl sideways. :-) I've noticed when Phoenix does just about anything, he's so focused on what he's doing & for long periods of time too. That was the case with drinking water this way ...he would take a few sips and then look at me like...wow that was interesting....and did it some more. But, after 3 times I put him upright not being sure how safe it is to be drinking that way.

So sleepy after a long day of playing.


How do they contort their bodies this way! So funny!


Watching for company. Phoenix thinks every visitor is a party. He just tears to the door when the bell rings, because he luvs people. It can anyone.....even the guy that came to fix my air conditioner, who Phoenix had never met before.

HE is the cutest little guy, and that last pic just cracks me up he's so adorable. And there's the ear hair again that I love too!!!!

Awww....thanks Teresa! And his ear hair is still growing....lol.

I think I'm in love with Phoenix, what a great combination...casual and ultra people friendly, what a perfect kittie! That inside out pose is so funny, it amazes me that they can get into that position, but even more that they find it comfortable! Great pix
