Here's the pic of my girls' condo. When I first got it I threatened (as if they understood) to take off the top perch because they fought over it. Now Samantha has proven her dominance of it so it's not an issue. They really use the posts on it for scratching so I've had to rewrap one of them, and as you can see, it needs it again. It's more than a scratch post though, it's a sleep on, chase each other on and a launch for playing.

I will make it at home.

I hope it will be OK.

Here is the starting part......

It will be for our Ragdoll kitten.
Wow! That is great, jhk! Could you open a thread to show it step by step?
Next part finished.

Carpet is sticked on..

Next part still waiting to finish...

That looks great! If you decide you want some taller ones - you might want to try what I did with some ladders I bought at thrift stores and garage sales. Plus instead of using sisal rope, I bought jute rope from the local Hobby Lobby craft store which was much cheaper and works exactly the same, then added on some platforms and stuff to lay on. Total I think I may have spent close to $70 for all of this.

I have this one in beige: http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.js...ingsDetail

I like that it was very sturdy, had a large perch, a kitty condo, and a bed.
I went for Molly and Friends because they are heavy and with a large enough size perch to accommodate a Ragdoll.

My friend told me of a cat she knew that jumped off a less sturdy cat tree causing it to fall over on him-- and it broke his jaw. Poor thing! That was enough to dissuade me from buying a lighter, cheaper one.

It was a great investment and one of the best things I ever bought. He loves it!

Bentley is still checking out the cat trees at Petsmart to pick out his favorite one.
