I am a newbie. I am in my 30's, married with 2 daughter's and own 3 cats. 1 is a rescued ragdoll. She is a mink I think. I signed up here to post pictures to see if she is. Plus I think she might be expecting. Hello everyone.
Welcome! It's great you decided to rescue a raggie Big Grin Did she come to you pregnant? And where are these pictures you speak of? Wink You'll find lots of helpful info here.
Can't wait to see pictures and to find out more! Welcome to the forum.
Welcome from another newbie, looking forward to seeing pictures.
Welcome and do share stories and pictures of all of your cats. You do not mention the circumstances of the rescue, but very few rescue cats are Ragdolls and those come into the system identified as pedigreed cats by the owners. Ragdolls are non extreme and many moggies will have one or more Ragdoll characteristics. Many Ragdoll owners first considered Ragdolls because they had gotten a wonderful big, long haired, loving, pointed moggie that caused them to look at Ragdolls for their next cat.

Welcome.
Most likely she is not a purebred Ragdoll but just has some chartertics of one.
I find it unusual that a Rescue organization did not spay her prior to having her adopted out.

Welcome to the forum! Smile Did the ragdoll come to you pregnant?
Sorry I was up late when I logged on. My cat Storm was the rescue. Let's go from the beginning. I had Sambuca (tortie) and Domino(tuxedo) and both I consider rescues in a way. Sambuca I got when she was 6 months and was FULL of fleas. Infested. She was on a farm and they had to many cats. I found her in the newspaper. Domino was owned by a 16 year old. Then he committed suicide and the cat went to several homes. I convinced my mother in law who at the time had him that he should live with us. He did for 11 years till he got Cancer and we found out July 18th 2009, he passed June 20th 2009. So I was on the lookout for a new family member. I fell in love with the rag doll and had one on order for $50 from a friend of a friend. Pure bred wasn't an issue, I just liked the look of them. I found my Storm (grey) on Craig's list. He was $30 and we don't really know what he is. He was lethargic and I knew it was from the mass amounts of fleas. His gums were white and he was anemic. I knew if I didn't get him out of that house he might not make it till morning. I was going to take the sister as well just to get her out of there but another girl was there to buy her. I took him home, bathed him and the water turned red. I went to the vet and got a capstar for him and some advantage. He was like a new kitty in the morning. So this comes to my rag doll. The cat had a miscarriage so I was on the hunt again. I looked for months looking for one. Then I saw her posted on a website. I fell in love. She was suppose to go to another family but they backed out. I stepped in and got her. She was found on the street by this lady with her mother and siblings. She is not a pure bred by any means as her mother looked liked a tabby. So anyways here we are. I wanted two kitten's so they can grow up together as my Sambuca is 14 now and is more of an outside independent cat of her own.

So Storm turned one on June 13th 2010 and Hailey on July 13th 2010. Or there abouts as they didn't really know. My Sambuca turned 14 on May 1st 2010 and it was 1 year that Domino passed on June 20th 2010.
Can anyone tell what she looks like? Mitted or seal or that stuff. I am new to all that. I have always had domestics all my life. I had some Persian X as well growing up.
Sorry, one other thing I was told that she was, is a "mink".
Nice pics! Your babies are beautiful Smile Sorry to hear about Domino, he looks so handsome in his "tuxedo". Storm and Sambuca have very nice colourings too! Hailey looks like a seal bi-colour and she is very pretty.
