There is a columnist in our local newspaper who recently published the results of an informal poll he did of his readers. He asked the question will they find another place to sit if a pet is in their chair/couch/etc.? Not only did people say they would find another place to sit, some even said they would move if the pet wanted their spot!! I had to laugh because this is like Raggie 101! My Boo's biggest thing is scarfing up the (warm) place where we were sitting until we got up for a minute. Takes him about 2 seconds to take over that warm spot. Yours too?
Moe has definitely done his share of seat stealing! He's so quiet and sneaks in it when you're not looking. So cute...we love it! It's nice when he wants to be nearby with us in prime-time hours...I find during the day he likes long quiet naps away from the hustle and bustle...unless I'm trying to make the bed in which he always lends a hand!

I get the bed making help too. Loves to play with the sheets as they're going on! Also subtly shoves us over and over on the couch until you have to get up and he gets the warm spot!
It sounds like our Ragdolls have trained us very well!!

The idea in our house is not to be thirsty, or needing the loo or you have lost your spot. One night I had to sleep on the lounge because no one would move to let me back into bed. OH just lays on them and they move for him but the same not be said for me.

Yes....our Katie does that....she will look at you and even come over to where you're sitting...then DH will move for her....
