apparently definitive guide to the ragdoll is on sale in the states on ebay for $150, now dont rush girls
that's a bit pricey for a book...Rolleyes
it was going for more than that over here in the uk
I don't get it, what is so amazing about the book that it costs that much??
omg really?? I've been trying to get my hands on even a 2nd hand one! and they're usually $600!!! time to go check it out Big Grin (the novelty has probably worn off after waiting so long haha).

Ok so checked it out and they only post to the US. Oh well!
I am also curious, what is so special about this book? It definitely has sparked my curiosity!
I'm with you girls ,,,,is it a CoachSmile
i'm not sure why it is so expensive. one reason is its out of print now and probably because the authors of the book were three old breeders from the uk none of which breed now got to interview anne baker while she was still alive. there is pictures of her with the breeders and also old footage taken with her first raggies in the sixties
I can imagine that a specialised book on the history of the breed can be a bit more pricey and I love reading and have some old books of my dog breeds - but honestly... I'd rather spend that much money on another raggie Wink

This isn't helpful for you I know, but it says on there that they post to the US, Canada and the UK. So those of you in the UK and Canada don't be put off! Smile
