I am so sad to have to place our Sebastian...I am having to move and it's hard to find a place that will take the dogs and a cat. I feel he deserves a home that will love him and care for him. The only place I have found so far would only let me have him if he was outdoors and he has been raised indoors so I don't want to put him through that. He is neutered, FIV nested negative and has had his shots, wormed, etc. He will be a year old in September. he is great with the dogs, my son, etc.
If there is anyone interested please let me know...He is great about using his litterbox and doesn't claw the furniture. I have posted pictures of him on here before but will try to get a new picture tomorrow. I think he weighs 10 lbs.
Thanks,
Christy
Ohh that is so sad.. I wish you didn't have to place him elsewhere, but I do hope he finds a new home that will be able to keep him forever. It might help for advertising him on here if you put where your from. Poor Sebastian

So sorry to hear this

Get in touch with his breeder. She (or he) might be able to help you find him a new home.
I wish you were closer to Ontario

.
That is really surprising that a landlord would accept three dogs but would insist that only an outdoor cat be allowed as opposed to an indoor. I can't for even a moment understand the logic???? Did he give you a reason for this? Perhaps let him meet Sebastian and explain that you would be heartbroken to break up your family. If it was me in that position, I would fight for him! Sebastian would be much happier staying with "his" family but if you do choose to give him up, I hope that you find a great home that will indeed be his forever home.
Awww!!! what a shame,I would try and talk to the rental owner and let them meet ,,if he is worried about damages you can all so offer to pay a higher deposit ,,,He is all ready letting you in with 3 dogs so it isn't like he is totally opposed to pets.
Like was mention going back to the breeder usually the breeder will take back there own and re home him for you.
So sad. It's kind of unusual the housing unit is making this demand on a cat. I've never heard of this before, because most restrictions are placed on dogs, with weight limits not exceeding 20 lbs. Around here I think the majority of renters accept cats over dogs...because of the difference in noise (no barking) and the fact cats use litter boxes, not the outdoors.
Anyway, hope Sebastion finds a forever home very soon.
