Charlie, 13 weeks, has the strongest smelling urine and poop I've ever experienced with a cat. It almost has a chemical smell to it. He seems fine in every respect and I clean his box every day just for self-defense. Has anyone else experienced this?

My kittens poos are TOXIC they smell so bad. Sometimes when I clean the poos out I feel like i'm going to throw up because it smells so bad. That's what I get for feeding them raw meat. LOL.
Make sure he is getting enough water in his diet. But I think the stink is pretty normal but can depend on what you feed them. I know there are some brands of food that are supposedly meant to help reduce the size, stench, and frequency of poos.
Maybe try switching to a litter that will absorb the stinks better. Recycled wood pellets are GREAT with smells as they absorb the pee quickly (poo will still smell unless covered). I think Feline Pine is one of them?? I'm in Australia though so I can't recommend brands if you aren't. But I'm sure others can!
Our cat always smells nasty too. We pretty much scoop constantly....
I find that the urine can smell stronger on some days than others...I'm not sure the cause I just make sure to disinfect the litter box weekly and replace with fresh litter. It seems to keep the smell down.
Our kittens sure did stink too and so I kept trying different foods til I found the right combination and now no odor. Keep trying is all I can say as they sure do not smell like any rose I ever smelled.
