I know, another diarrhea thread...LOL.
Just wondering if I should be taking Ruby to the vets or waiting it out to see if it passes.
She's had diarrhea the past two days. First day she used the litterbox 3 times, and last nite up until this morning she's used it 5 times. Yeah. Just for diarrhea. And she was going about every few hours so I hardly slept. She just had one about half an hour ago but it was practically all clear mucous with a tiny bit of brown.
It hasn't shown any signs of improving (firming up) but I think the mucus might be a sign that she's gotten rid of most if not all of it.
I haven't been able to see any worms or anything in it, but it is due time for her to be wormed.
I've been feeding them both a teaspoon each a day of Golden Mash baby food (pumpkin, sweet potatoes, and water) because Pyjamas had a couple days of diarrhea before Ruby. It helped him, but today his poo is semi-soft and hers seemed to get worse after the golden mash.
Any info or advice is greatly appreciated. I don't have a great deal of money but I can easily afford the vet visit if we have to take her. I'm just wondering if I do take her to the vets too much for things that will pass? Seems like we're always there, LOL.
