I would have thought you'd still see a shaved tummy on the girls. Could you have a look at the tortie, so you know that's def a girl, and can compare???!!! Good luck!
The fur should still be shorter at the incision site and surely, if the breeder is happy for you to collect while she's out of town then surely she is confident that her husband will be able to find the right kitten for you. I know I wouldn't be happy to leave Stan to hand over a kitten if he couldn't tell them apart.

The idea that you could compare the colourpoints to a tortie to check on sex is a good idea too.
My little girl was spayed on the 22nd of June and the hair on her belly is still MUCH shorter. There is a very clear square on her belly, no possible way to mistake it for that being the way her hair naturally grows lol. And not only that, but I can actually see the incision. It was glued and not stitched so the glue is supposed to go away on its own but there is still a noticeable incision site. Hope that helps.
All great info! Thanks everyone. I'm feeling confident now that I'll return home with the right kitten Smile

Now I just have to wait...4 weeks tomorrow!
You must be so excited that your little one is almost ready to come home!! I'm so glad that you asked this question because being relatively new to the cat world I was wondering the same thing! That's what I love about this forum, most of my questions are answered before I have to even ask them Smile
Looking forward to seeing pictures of your new baby!
