Oh wow Kitty! Those landscape shots are absolutely breathtaking. I haven't been out west travelling since I was 19 (other than to Montana and Wyoming) and regret that I was too young to truly appreciate it as I should have. It's so amazing how different the US can be in areas. I've never been to Bryce Canyon that I know of and those pics are just my favorites!
OMG those are breathtaking shots! I'm ready to go. Sorry about your back. I hope it gets better after some rest.
The scenery in Bryce Canyon is spectacular. I can't believe the colours of the rocks and the contrast with the bright blue sky is just amazing. I can't wait to see the next batch of photos Kitty, hint, hint Big Grin
Hi Ladies, I got some sleep, but unfortunately the cats were getting into the bathroom cabinets and woke me at the crack of dawn, grrrrrrrrrrr.... There is nothing interesting in there but it's an obsession of theirs.

Jo, I can easily see how Bryce could be dangerous with ice, yikes! I read in the paper that they just found a young woman who fell to her death in the grand Canyon, and another in Utah. No sense taking chances.

T, it is such a worthwhile trip, so many different parks to visit. The US is very diverse in its landscapes and environments isn't it?

Thanks Kat, it's still sore hopefully it will get better soon. I'm sick today, so I'm getting plenty of rest.

Jane, isn't it amazing????

Here are a few pics of the Grand Canyon.

I have more on my phone, but it takes awhile to email them to myself, as I have a dumb phone and not a smart phone!
Such wonderful pictures Kitty! You didn't miss me in the Mojave, we fly out of here on the 14th so its still a few days yet until we get there. You did take a picture of some of our neighbors though....the town we're moving to is full of those ravens!! I just love Vegas, so much fun, and the dinner show at the Excalibur is a lot of fun (been to it twice now!). My favorite though is definitely the Grand Canyon. No picture does it justice, its definitely one of those things you have to see because it will take your breath away! I can't wait to get back on the mainland and get to do a roadtrip! So glad you guys had such a good time. Hope you get rested up and your back into shape with some rest.
Hey Jenny! So good to hear from you. I hope that you are hanging in there with the belongings packed away and sleeping on an air bed.

The Excaliber show sounds great, I'll have to see it sometime. I'll bet that my kids would flip! You live in an awesome area for road trips, LA, San Diego, the Southwest, lots of choices. I hear the Tehachapi Wilderness is wonderful.

You are right about the Grand Canyon, no pics could ever do it justice! Take care of yourself!!
Kitty welcome home. All of your pictures are amazing. The best was the slot machine. I hope you won on it. I've been to Vegas and the Grand Canyon. Both truly beautifu,l each in there own way. Did you see the new bridge over Hover Dam?
Have a safe trip. I am sure your kittens will do ok, have fun and try not to miss them too much. Great pictures too!
Wow, Kitty ! Everyone one of those pictures was post card perfect ! You have a great eye, no doubt. Ever though of doing photography as a profession?

I loved them all, but those shots of the storm took my breath away. That's the kind of shot I'd frame and hang in my living room. Really, REALLY great, Kitty !

How's your back feeling today? Better I hope... Sorry it was such an issue for you, but glad you were able to still enjoy such an amazing trip.
