Oh man, poor little fella....! I hope that the cream does help. Do massage it in well also to help with the bloodflow! Not sure if it's possible but maybe you can cover it somehow to keep him from picking it at so it has a chance to heal?

Do you still have the cone from the vet? Perhaps you can put it back on (I know they hate it) so that he doesn't worry the area while you are treating it with the cream?
