Just saw someone posted this on facebook and thought I would share..!
It's an article and video of a sweet black cat that had its legs destroyed, and some scientists and doctors got metal to fuse with the bones in his back feet, and made him prosthetic feet to attach so that he wouldn't be put to sleep. It's really sweet

Ok... now you had me spill some tears for this brave little guy and the vet that helped him getting back on his feet! Truly AWESOME - this is a milestone in veterinarian surgery using bionics!
I almost cried myself...! I was so happy to see him jumping around, and what the vet said at the end about what a wonderful cat he is is just about one of the sweetest things I have ever heard!

I saw this on the news last week and was amazed, not only by what they had achieved for Oscar but also by the fact that they were actually willing to try and do something for him after such an horific accident. It was lovely to see the vets response and Oscar climbing on his first attempt at walking again.
I saw that too Jane, wasn't that vet amazing?? I guess he lost the legs in a combine harvester, ughhhh. That cat surprised everyone!
I have to agree with you Jane....I was just touched by how someone cared enough to help the poor guy out and get him on his feet again. My heart feels full when I see the compassion and love that people have for the smallest of creatures.
There really are some angels out there.
It's so wonderful when good, caring people come together in the realization that a little soul is worth saving, this made my day.
