Hi All -- I am new to this forum and love my ragdolls --

I have 3 beauties ---

wanting a vartiety, I have a stunning Seal Point Mitted, a Blue Point, and a Cream Point....

I have owned "garden variety" cats for 35 years, but saw, on the Animal Planet, about Ragdolls -- fell in love and went searching....

2 of my cats are from the same breeder in Venice, Florida...

2 are half siblings.... and one is a "rescue" -- can you believe anyone would drop off Spencer - my stunning Cream Point - at the vet cause they were moving to an apartment that doesn't take cats???!!!

the receptionist, who know us and our cats, called and said that this ragdoll cat was dropped off and was going to be put to sleep the next day unless someone took him....

running down to the vet, she came out with the most beautiful cat I have laid eyes on.... and though scared, he was very well behaved...

so, I borrowed a carrier from them, and took him home, saying I would find a home for him, and foster him in the meantime....RIGHT!!

I could not give him up,... knew that after about 2 hours, and have folded him into my family.....

so as much as I'd lke to say to you all, that if you need a ragdoll resuced in SouthWest Florida, call me.... I know I'd proably keep it!

no...no more now....

but truly, if you need a ragdoll resuced or fostered, contact me here on this forum...

I love them...

if I can find the place to post my pic of my 3 loves, I will do so later today!

Welcome to this group - I'm sure you'll have a great time here.
I love your story about Spencer and believe me I can fully relate to your 'problem' about giving up a rescued foster cat - I would be called a mad cat woman in no time if I started it too.
Welcome!! I love your story and hope you will post pictures. If you save your pictures to photobucket and then get the code you will be able to post them. Teresa has a tutorial here somewhere. I'm sure she will be along to help. I look forward to getting to know you,
Hi and welcome to the forum. It's great to have you and you kitties here. I hope you figure out the pictures and we get to see these gorgeous raggies of yours.
HI and welcome. The way you got Spencer is amazing, so lucky for both you and him. I'm sure he was the perfect addition to your family and I hope we get to see them all soon.
What a story! I can't understand how anyone could discard a Ragdoll either. I think it says something about the person, not the cat.
Sounds like it all worked out for the best. You wouldn't want Spencer living with somebody who could give him away like that.
Welcome to the forum!

I would have a horrible time giving up a foster cat too and I love that your kept him. What a happy ending to what could have been so tragic.
Hi and welcome! .. hope you enjoy it here!
