Poor Raffles! If he's drooling I hope the vet checks his mouth and teeth thoroughly. Lancelot was displaying the same symptoms and he had lost so much weight as well. He had a bad gum infection needing 3 teeth removed (he's only 1 1/2 by the way). But now he's a lot better. I hope your darling boy will be ok, 16 years is a very good age! And still so handsome Smile
well he is off the drip as from yesterday morning and apparently eating well. i know the vet does have trouble looking at his mouth because his nose is so tender. with so much sneezing over the years it has left his nose lining rather scarred.
he did have a dental a couple of years ago and i know the vet didnt really want to put him under anaesthetic because of his age.
if everything goes well i should be picking up tomorrow afternoon/
I hope he's on the mend now, sounds like he is doing better Smile Get well soon Raffles!
I'm glad to hear that he's eating and sure hope that you're able to get that boy back home.
Hooray Raffles, such a champ!!! I hope they are able to discover what may be causing him the troubles. Here's to his mommy spoiling him rotten with lots of tasty treats and of course plenty of bellyrubs Smile
