I just remembered I never told you guys the outcome of my MRI. My rotator cuff is not torn.

I'm having physical therapy to see if we can loosen it up without surgery which would be manipulation under anesthesia. I've had two therapy sessions, & exercises to do twice a day at home. Therapy hurts like the devil

but the improvement in just two sessions is amazing.
We've been watching The Tudors, and I keep thinking of the woman being stretched to death in the tower. "Racked" I believe it was called.
Good news it's not torn! Ouch those therapy sessions sound painful

But you're seeing some improvement already so that's great

So happy everything is working out for you Kathleen.
My sister in law had that but it was in her hand she had therapy all so and she has full motion back that was about 5 years ago. I do remmeber her saying the theraphy was painfull.
hang in there.
Just remember---No pain, no gain! Hang in there. Therapy beats surgery. Glad there's some improvement already.
Hey Kat! I was just thinking about you last night when my boyfriend was showing me the slides from his cranial MRI. Man, were they bizarre! His appt. is next Wed. (his follow up, I should say).
I am glad that you are seeing results already, PT is a bear but it does help. Thank heavens they don't think it will require surgery. My hips lock up, it's not a lot of fun so I feel for you! Take the exercises slow and easy.
That's great news Kat. I hope the therapy continues and you soon will be getting some relief. Keep us posted.....
That's really good news - especially about how well the therapy is helping. Hang in there and do those exercises -- hopefully you'll be good as new before long!
I hope that the therepy helps and that that pain goes away real fast!
Thanks Y'all! One girl there shared the secret of a special waterproof mascara.

At least I wasn't the only one in tears.
KatLeen, hope the PT helps. If not, you could ask them for a TENS unit. Those are amazing!! I fell and popped my collar bone off my shoulder (I'm sure there is a more technical / medical term for it

), and when the PT didn't work any more, I was prescribed one of those units. They are amazing!!
P.S. I love the Tudors!! Was soooo sad when we watched the last episode.
