I can't believe it didn't hit me sooner...but last night I realized, "Mheetu" won't work at all. It's much to close to "Meeko". In fact, now that I'm aware of it I don't even want a name that starts with "M"
Once again my baby boy is nameless. I used to like Koda but my boyfriend HATES that name. I wouldn't care or listen to him but we've been together 14 years so I figure he gets
some input if he really dislikes a name. In the same way - he really really wants to name the new baby "Redford" because it pairs well with "Newman" but I don't like it at all. (maybe if he were a flame I'd reconsider - but he isn't so I won't

)
I had considered Bosco but now I really just don't like it.
Maybe the name will come to me when I meet him but right now - I've got nothing. Well, I do have the name "Bear" stuck in my head since yesterday but it's awfully simple and unoriginal and I don't think it's the right one.
Please feel free to make suggestions if any come to mind! Thanks, everyone. I just want to find the right name that I'll be sure of instead of just "I don't hate it"

What a gorgeous baby boy! It'll be really hard to settle on a name. how about Koala in the bear theme - cause he has a really cute Koala type nose. Woodward and Cassidy (butch) also go with the newman theme. What fun you'll have with him. Laura
You can even look up bear in a different language and call him that.
Japanese = Kuma
Or other examples are: Neko is cat in Japanese
Minou - french for cat!
This way you can pick something ordinary and make it more interesting! lol
I'm very into human names and considered these for Kevin:
Walter
Raymond
Stewart
Rupert
Charles
Harry
Frank - Frankie Blue Eyes (After Sinatra)
Stanley - My last cat who has passed away
I really appreciate the help (and patience since I've asked this before....)
I don't think I've found the name yet and I'm a total pain the way I think I like a name and then an hour later realize I don't like it at all. I'm trying to remind myself that I have to like the name itself and not just the meaning or idea of the name.
Does anyone like any of these? I won't feel bad in the least if you think they're all terrible. They're just what's floating around in my head at the moment!
Grover
Kopa
Loki
Sammo
Takoda
Tojo
I like Loki - was that one of your options before? hehe. Just running off Laura's suggestion, what about Blinky Bill? He's a very popular koala cartoon character here. Always getting up to mischief but has a heart of gold

Out of your list, I like Loki. Good luck in your decision

I am going to think about some possible names for your sweet kitten and get back to you, Halebop. Looks like you already have some fantastic ones, too!
Your wee one is a lovely kitten. I can certainly understand your name change and I have been thinking about him. Here are some names that came to mind and I've been searching too. I'll be praying you find just the right name for your little angel.
Cosby
Toby
Cory
Cubby or Cubbie
Robbie (nickname for Robert)
Baloo (bear from Jungle Book)
Kenai (Brother Bear)
Bernie (Strong bear)
Ben (Gentle Ben bear)
I'm like Karissa, I like human names for kitties!
You know, when I saw you picked the name Mheetu, I wondered if it was because you wanted to pay tribute to Meeko. It's not a bad thing, if they have similar names. I know you know you can never ever replace Meeko, so don't feel bad
My boyfriend also suggests Walter, LOL I don't know why. he says if you want a funny name from Seinfeld to go with Newman, there's always Art Vandalay (I think that is SNAPPY!)
I LOVE Cosby Eeyoredag...that is SO cute!!
Here are some more suggestions to get the juices flowing considering you like human names...i included some M names too if you do change your mind about the M
