Phoenix did the funniest thing while I was changing his litter. Each time I change his litter box, I lift it up to put it on the bathroom vanity. His box is located directly below this area. He always hurries to quickly go pee or even poop while I've got it up there, which I think is so cute! Big Grin He's not shy at all. I think he's like Sammie's Charlie Cat, doing his business loud and proud. Smile

But anyway, today as he was jumping up on my vanity, I was putting his box down all cleaned up. I keep his fresh new litter in ziploc plastic bags for quick use on the vanity and he actually jumped on top of a plastic bag, pawed at it, and then was starting to go pee!!! Just LOL! Guess my boy isn't that fussy. Tongue

Another note on litter: I didn't have anything good to say about SWheat Scoop or World's Best litter. Well, now I do. I needed to use these litters because the breeder was & I now love them both. I change between the two just as she was doing, and I'd have to say that the World's Best is my favorite one. Maybe they've improved them since I had used them in the past?
Haha, so cute!

Yep, I love World's Best. I think it's really good for odor control and I don't have to change out the litter as often as when I was using Tidy Cats. Plus I love that if I've just cleaned the litterbox and one of the boys goes in and stinks it up (which happens often!!) I can just scoop the poop and flush it, instead of having to get a garbage bag, scoop it then walk it down to the dumpster. I don't often flush it, only if there's one spot that needs to be cleaned out.. but I love it when I do need to do it!
I agree with that Lindz. I can now see why they call it World's Best! lol Good to know about the flushing, too.....I didn't know that. And another thing that's nice, is this litter isn't as heavy as the clay litters.
Haha, why do they like messing up the litter just when you've cleaned it? Ours will literally wait till we are home to pee and poo because they know I'll clean it up straight away! silly munchkins Smile
That little Phoenix is a pistol!! At least he has great potty etiquette.
He sounds so cute!!!and trying so hard to make his mommy happy.
What a good little boy.
Hehe, just to change it up a bit- don't want to be going in the same place all the time!! Fawkes did a similar thing. We have huge 10kg bags of litter that we get from local pet store which we keep in the washouse. The washouse door is usually kept shut, anyway I go to get the washing out of the machine and guess what I walk in on? Fawkes standing in the litter bag and he jumps out and trots out of the room and I look in the litter bag and there is a suprise in there for me Smile
oh Phoenix you scallywag you and the same as Fawkes, got to love these reds for surprises Wink
Way to go Phoenix!!

You're right Jo, why do they all wait until you get home before they go? I don't go out to work but if I just go out shopping for an hour I can guarantee that at least 6 raggies will go, one after another, in the litter tray that is nearest to my chair as soon as I get home and sit down!!

How funny Jo....and so true! Smile

LOL Teresa, he definitely does. Phoenix also has a thing with playing in water, so now he's my little water pistol. Big Grin I even have a tricky time getting in the shower, without him following me right in there. The breeder did tell me he loves his baths, so I'm going to give him one very soon considering the hot weather here (85 degrees), and I know it would make him very happy!

Awww....thanks Linda! Smile

Hahaha Matthew, that is hilarious that Fawkes also did that with the litter bag! It must be a flame thing for sure....our fun lovin', anything goes boys. Tongue

Catmuma....I'm starting to think that....about the reds & their surprises!

Jane, how cute that your cats all wait for you to get home to go potty too.
