I just wanted to say, that the point of breeding should be to better the breed and to keep the ragdolls looking like ragdolls.

I've seen some pretty poorly bred rags that look no different than a "doll-faced" himilayan... there is no size, no overall "ragdoll" sillhouette, the eyecolor was weak, the hair type was coarse...

If there are titles in the pedigree, it means that you have a breeder who cares enough to measure their individual cats up against the breed standard. There is no such thing as a "perfect" ragdoll, but there is such a thing as trying to breed as closely as possible to the standard. If there arent at least 3 champions in the pedigree, what's to say that you arent buying a cat who could pass as a long-haired siamese, and will produce kittens that have the same features as a long-haired siamese?

I think that a breeder who shows their cats (even if its just for fun to them) is a breeder who wants their cats to be known to look like ragdolls instead of just cats that could be anything else... but are technically ragdolls by pedigree.

I'm not wording it properly, but hopefully my rambling has made my point lol.
