okay so my mums raggie, murphy, has a distinct approach to get pats. i was sitting with him tonight and patting him but then i stopped. oh no. he started nibbling me so i began and all was fine.
he often does this with my mum at all hours of the night. if u dont respond with a pat he will bite harder to the point where he has drawn blood. so then my mums puts sheets over head and that a no go to him as well so he pws and paws until he gets to you. it is kind of cute when its only a nibble...i think this is a definite im warning you continue to pat me or else!!!!!

I have to hide my hands either under my pillow or buried under the covers. If I don't Monkey will continue to rub his head against my hand until he gets rubbed! Last night though he was determined to get more loving, and shoved himself under the covers until he found my hands there! These guys can be very stubborn and persistent!!
teresa- yes he is doing well but if u pick him up he does meow as his scar must still be tender. poor buddy.
jenny- that sounds awfully cute, lucky there is not any pain, mum has some battle woulnds from him. cheeky thing. but he is so affectionate u cant stay mad at him. he comes and sits with you whilst u are watching tv, for pats of course...and when he flops, its like timber falling, very sudden with a thump there isnt any graciousness.

I love Murphy ! Gotta love a kitty who knows what he wants and how to get it. Such a smart boy! Your poor Mum, though...she must feel like Murphys personal pin cushion !

Bub nips my hands early in the morning when he wants attention until I hide the under the cover. If it's food he's after, he will burrow under the cover after me.
When he was small it hurt, but now he seems to know how much pressure to apply. His little teeth feel like a staple puller.
Aww sounds like Murphy loves the attention he gets! How cheeky nibbling you, what a tinker, I bet he gives all the affection back as well though
