Haha, he is gigantic! That's not a harness Kat, you can see it in the left side of the picture where it goes around the bottom side of the left claw holding it open....because it was still alive!! Can you imagine getting pinched by that thing???? I think it'd take off a finger, if not an entire hand! We ended up cooking it, but not really eating it. Apparently you're supposed to leave it in a cooler and change the water every day for a couple of days to "clean" it out (of course we didn't know this), so the meat was weird-tasting and brown! We ended up grabbing some imitation crab meat out of the fridge and eating a bowl of that instead Smile
OMG I have NEVER before seen dog walkers like that LOL...
Jenny, that crab was a whopper! So many beautiful pics here, T your Luna moth is gorgeous!

Bringing up an old thread, but here is ASPEN ISLAND which is a small island, with one of the largest carillons in the world, off the Lake Burley Griffin in Canberra.

So nice, and cold too, huh Cloe?
The big hawk was on the fence last week, with his wings spread out, but my camera was so slow, he was gone before it shot.
I went directly to Best Buy, looked at the Nikkons and Cannons but didn't buy either one. I took these with my old Sony and still haven't read my manual.
Last week while my two youngest grandchildren were here.
Our own yard is the best nature shots I've got.

Grandpa Bud built a tire swing. This is Alexis.

Lexi liked the swing, Marley, not so much.

Thanks for thinking of us, even while on vacation Cloe - I didn't know what a carillon was though and looked it up (musical instrument in a belfry? - did you get a pic of that?) The scenery shots are beautiful. Hard to believe it can be cool there when it is so hot and humid here!!

Katleen, what great grandkids you have!!
Thanks T. They were a lot of fun.
