As i mentioned previously, my 6 month old raggie is a picky eater and a bit slim (for my liking, hehe). He seems hungry, but dissatisfied with what im feeding him (and ive tried everything). Today i tried putting a spoon near his mouth and strangely- he starts gobbling down the wet food that he had no interest in a minute ago. I cant spoon feed him all the time, anyone have ideas on why this is happening?

This is not unusual for cats to prefer being hand fed. Sometimes it is a first bite issue, so that you can start with a spoon and then put him down with the bowl. In addition, inducing eating like this with picky eaters can result in their being less picky altogether.
