Yesterday was laundry day for me. I was up and down stairs all day, doing laundry and putting it away.
We sat down last night to watch American Idol. In the evening, when we finally sit down, Sunny comes running and lays down between my husband and I. Every night, without fail.
After about 20 minutes, Chris asked "Where's Sunny?" And immediately, my heart stopped. (My greatest fear is that she'll get out) We jumped up and started tearing through the house, calling her name and trying to remember the last time we saw her. We're running up and down all 4 floors, looking under beds, etc.
I finally got to the laundry room and threw the door open. And there she was. All curled up and sleeping on top of a laundry basket. She squinted her big blue eyes as if to say "Turn the lights off!" I scooped her up and hugged the stuffing out of her. She LOVES the laundry room. She can be on the top floor of the house and if she hears the laundry room door open, she comes running. I can't explain it, but now I know to triple check before I walk out of the room and shut the door.
I figure she was in there for about 3 hours. She could have been calling me, but she she has SUCH a quiet mew that I would never have heard her. But gees....you'd think she'd finish up the laundry as long as she was lying around with nothing else to do. LOL
