Yesterday was laundry day for me. I was up and down stairs all day, doing laundry and putting it away.

We sat down last night to watch American Idol. In the evening, when we finally sit down, Sunny comes running and lays down between my husband and I. Every night, without fail.

After about 20 minutes, Chris asked "Where's Sunny?" And immediately, my heart stopped. (My greatest fear is that she'll get out) We jumped up and started tearing through the house, calling her name and trying to remember the last time we saw her. We're running up and down all 4 floors, looking under beds, etc.

I finally got to the laundry room and threw the door open. And there she was. All curled up and sleeping on top of a laundry basket. She squinted her big blue eyes as if to say "Turn the lights off!" I scooped her up and hugged the stuffing out of her. She LOVES the laundry room. She can be on the top floor of the house and if she hears the laundry room door open, she comes running. I can't explain it, but now I know to triple check before I walk out of the room and shut the door.

I figure she was in there for about 3 hours. She could have been calling me, but she she has SUCH a quiet mew that I would never have heard her. But gees....you'd think she'd finish up the laundry as long as she was lying around with nothing else to do. LOL
Aw, Sunny apparently was happy with a quiet place to sleep with lots of soft cushioning. So glad you found her and she hadn't got outside. Maybe you can show her how to do laundry now, so if she gets shut in there again she can finish it for you!
I snuggled with her this morning and we had a wee conversation about her housekeeping skills (or lack thereof). She made a small snorting sound at me when I gently suggested her folding the clothes. I think that's a "No". LOL
LOL....such a silly Sunny. She is such a cute girl!

I hate that panicked feeling when you don't know where kitty has gotten to. I once couldn't find Ruby, looked all around the house for her..came back to my original spot and there she was, standing there staring at me like I was crazy Wink
Sounds a bit like Phoebe and I, she loves me emptying the dishwasher, every single day she watches me put all the plates away, I turn my back to get more dishes and she walks right into the cupboards, I have to get down and double check she's out before shutting the door.

So far she's shown no interest whatsoever in the laundry goings on.

Anyway I'm glad Sunny was fine after all of the panic of trying to find her.
Hehe, Sunny is a character! She must think she's "helping" out just fine Wink
I bet she got tired when she was supervising you doing the laundry and needed a nap.Smile
Haha so funny!
LOL....such a cute Sunny story! :-)
