So when I registered on here, I ask if my blue raggie was infact a lilac, because hes so light. I was told no, and said he is still too dark for a lilac, and still growing. (Hes 18months) So I found this 3 year old raggie at the local shelter (Tempted to get him because raggies dont deserve to be there!!) This boy is a lot lighter. They have him labelled as a tabby point. So do you think he is a lilac?

Cheers,

Shazzy.

Looks chocolate to me, he has brown tinge to his colour. Could be lilac however, I'll leave this to someone more experienced.
He's a beautiful boy, but a lilac is going to be the color of Cloe's Jasper (Jaz) - search on his name in the photo galleries and you'll see pics of him and how light he really is compared to a blue.
There have been many examples in Ragdoll history when breeding cats identified as chocolate and lilac were in fact seal and blue. Therefore, one often cannot accurately determine this with hands on the cat. Doing it from a picture is much more of a challenge. The good news is that there is now a DNA test and one can determine whether or not a cat is chocolate or lilac - and that is the only reliable way to do it.
Whatever his color is, he is a BEAUTY!!
I agree whatever his color he is very handsome and looks like he needs a good home. Are you thinking of getting him?
Oooh please do get him! He is stunning!!
