Happy Saturday everyone! So on the topic of our entertaining little fur balls...one of the things that just tickles me to death is watching Miranda react to music...Back in our first days together--when she was just totally freaked out by the changes and was just "wild"---I flipped the cd player on one day..I hadnt played it in awhile and there was a mix of Christmas music and Fleetwood Mac and Earth, Wind and Fire...and a lone cd of Big Band music....when that hit the air waves Miranda stood at attention (to Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy no less!) and then did the "death flop"...and just laid there in total contentment and surrender...I have had suspicions that she was a former Zigfield girl by the way she flings cat litter but at that moment I truly believed she must have been one of those babes you see in the pictures from "V" day...before my time but obviously not before hers! lol...please share your stories! Angel is entertained by bottle caps and those toy mice things. She's also easily amused by watching a window lol. Shylo likes to watch TV. Here's a pic of her watching Animal Planet.. there was something about cheetahs and it was funny watching her watch it.

I owned a really darling mixed breed; a pound adoption who I did not realize would grow so large when she joined my household. I used to tell her cat companion to "take a catnap" when I left the house. The other cat cooperated after I had issued the order a couple days in a row. A long time after this my quasi-ragdoll was misbehaving on top of the washer while I was trying to do some laundry. I wanted her to jump off on her own but she continued prancing about, begging to be petted. Finally, I ordered her "Oh take a catnap!" She complied immediately and curled up on top of the washer as the other cat had when she got her orders. Neither of my cats surprised me everyday but I enjoyed the times they came through.
