My mom found our cat trying to push the kitten through the cage to take her out of cage and ended up with the baby's head through which resulted in the baby crying for help. Now the baby sounds totally different. I tried to help stimulate breathing but when she meows, it doesn't sound right. Should I be hearing her breath since I do? And if the baby is meowing very softly every 10 seconds, is she is pain? And if my 10 day year old newborn is just laying there looking weak, is that normal?
I'm trying to convince my mom is take her to the vet but she says the newborn is perfectly healthy.
What should I do? Please help.
Thank you.
A vet is needed for both.

On the inactive one, you need to weigh newborns to make sure they are getting nourishment. If Ragdoll kittens are not gaining about half an ounce per day, then they have to be supplemented with KMR either by syringe if they will take that or by tube if needed. A vet tech can show you how to tube feed.
I agree with Jan, both kittens need to be seen by a vet as a matter of urgency. Please try and persuade your mom to take them.
Please take the babies to the vet.
How are the babies doing, did your Mom take them to the vet?
Yes how are the little ones??
Ouch! poor little guys --please let us know the outcome
